Hello, my name is John Dawson. I worked for many years in the IT industry, mainly writing software. I was in a fortunate position of being able to take early retirement, and because I had been with the same company for over 20 years I received a very generous package. This enabled me to devote my time to voluntary work at a Steiner-Waldorf School just outside Reading.
To supplement my finances I set up Thames Valley PC Therapy, offering IT support as a sole trader. I did work for a number of charities and community organisations, to whom I offered preferential rates.
Now I am receiving an occupational pension, which more than covers my fairly modest living expenses. So I no longer have any need to earn money. Also sadly the Steiner School has now closed down; succumbing to the financial pressures all such enterprises are now subject to.
So now I am relaunching Thames Valley PC Therapy to offer free help and support to charities and voluntary organisations who do not have funds to engage paid for support.
So if you have an IT issue you would like some help with or advice about, please give me a ring:

And to be absolutely clear: free does mean free. I will never charge you for any work done, nor seek payment for completing any work started.
There may be limits to the work I can undertake in a particular situation, in which case I will help you find a suitable professional, I do not have links to any other companies and do not earn any commissions for referring clients.
